Pink for Piper!!

Some dear friends decided tomorrow, April 16th, should be Pink for Piper day, and they have decided they will going all out in pink for the day. I am so touched! I don't have much pink here in my suitcase, but you can bet I will be looking around to find as much pink as I can, in addition to painting all nail surfaces attached to me pink! If I can manage it, I may even paint Jordan's toenails pink! That might be a stretch, but knowing how much he loves this
little girl of ours I am sure he would go to just about any measure to show it!

To know that there will be so many praying for Piper tomorrow means so much. There are times when these prayers hold my arms up when I feel I cannot continue to do so alone. Thank you!

  7. Pink it is. I didn't get on last night but will spread the word this morning. Kari, I wish I could just take you in my arms and hug away your heartache. After Shane passed away, one song that really spoke to me was "The Warrior is a Child". People always said "you are so strong"--words I am sure you hear every day. I would think "if they only knew..."! I am so thankful for God's promises! I know that there are so many prayers going up on behalf of Piper and your family. I don't know what else to do, so I'll just keep praying.

    Hello Clark family,
Your family is such an inspiration to ours. We've learned of your story from the Lute family and our hearts ache for you. Your children are precious and we are blessed and in awe of your grace and confidence in God through these trials. Reading your story has given us a whole new appreciation for each little moment with our own children and your faith is truly inspiring - keep leaning on Him. We're wearing pink and will continue to pray pray pray! May God continue to bless you.
    Love in Him,
    The Partain Family

  15. We are all changing now. 4 girls and we will find something for our little guy. I cannot say more than what has been said, but know more prayers just went up for you. Our older 3 "understand" (8,7,7) and we talk about Piper often. They have such compassionate hearts (and cry for y'all). Oh, you wanted us to do something for someone else. I prayed and it hit me...my own kids! I smell them more now because of her. I look at them more often because of her. I smile more at them because of Piper. I will continue to help someone else, but I wanted to start at home first and you will be blessed for teaching me those things! Lots of love and hugs. Reitmairs
